Long term strategic evil is of Satan and his demons, but Men have evil in them too. The evils coming of partial Good and partial knowledge should not be confused with this. Actually I know little about art, old or new, but I just read Michael Walsh's Devil's Pleasure Palace, in which he makes the case that art needs to be critiqued separately from it's artist. Anyway, that's a long story. But it's interesting because Dickenson is morally upright and always has been, yet so much of his music is unlistenable. The more pleasing (relatively) Zeppelin oeuvre was created from heart of the foul drug-addled gutter crew.

Anyway.
This morning I googled "Boer War atrocities" because I wanted to see if there was any barbarism in the war. In fact, Roberts and Kitchener adopted the scorched earth policy and camps as the only logical response to guerilla warfare, and the lack of supplies to the camps were not intentional. There wasn't enough for the soldiers. There was no other "barbarism" on the part of the brits. Yet Britain was credited with "inventing" this war strategy. And when Britain condemned the Hitler's Jewish death camps, she were scoffed at and said she had no moral leg to stand on because of South Africa. This is the kind of false guilt trip that has Albion languishing in the underworld.

Not two hours later and this blog gives credence to my central theory. That all evil (in the western tradition) traces roots to one place and one place only. No doubt the Normans suffered terribly under the moors.

Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15932699167808546118noreply@blogger.com
